谁敢说没有一种技术可以让人类模拟过去的文明呢

　　So given that we’re clearly on a trajectory to have games that are indistinguishable from reality, and those games could be played on any set-top box or on a PC or whatever, and there would probably be billions of such computers or set-top boxes, it would seem to follow that the odds that we’re in base reality is one in billions.所以按照这样子的轨迹，这样的游戏可以在任何一台PC或者是机箱里面玩，现在或许已经有10亿台这样的机器在运行。这也就是说我们只有十亿分之一的可能是活在现实中。

　　他说，现在的技术发展迅速，已经模糊了虚拟与现实的界限，谁敢说没有一种技术可以让人类模拟过去的文明呢，这也就是说我们只不过是未来社会所模拟生成的事物，我们只不过是某人的游戏而已。他说只有十亿分之一的可能，我们是存在于现实中。

　　或许，科技的进步将会改变人类的定义，很快我们就不知道跟自己交谈的那个人是人类还是机器人。而且，科学家一直也有类似的说法：我们的宇宙只不过是一个全息影像，可能是假的，或许只是外星人的玩具。
